Leila has done an amazing job of nurturing and supporting this group and it now has almost 4k members! Leila and I hold very similar values when it comes to unleashing the power of culture and creativity. Her name is Leila D'Aronville FRSA and I first came across her through the wonderful North East Cultural Freelnacers Facebook group. I have recently connected with someone really special. I am especially fortunate as the Directors of Creative Heritage Studios are a phenomenal support and I have some very exciting news regarding a new Director who will be coming on board very soon. But just to let you know no pictures are allowed in the space, we wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise would we!?Īt Saltwell Park - Do you have someone that champions and supports you? I am very lucky I do have a number of people that do this for me. If anyone from my network would like to come and see behind the scenes you are most welcome. I have another epic day of painting and I am adding lots of detail to my design today which is the extra fun bit!! I have had some lovely visits from people who have been curious to see behind the scenes.Īnd I am sure they will all agree that I am surrounded by the most talented artists in the North East who are all working hard to get their Shaun’s complete for the deadline. I cannot wait to share my final design with the public. But what I can say is it is a colour explosion and super summery. I cannot reveal my design as it’s all top secret until the trail is launched. We get to work in a full air conditioned space at Quorum Park which in this weather is wonderful. I have absolutely loved every minute of painting my Shaun for the Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne sculpture trail that raises money for St Oswald's Hospice. And I have been making content about what an average day looks like for me. Over on the □️ app you can find me as The Dyslexic Designer.
